Greetings LPAC Families & Friends: It’s time for one of our largest fundraisers of the year, the Empty Bowl Concert & Dinner, Wednesday, February 18th from 7:00 – 9:00pm at Lakewood High School in the West Atrium & Auditorium. The cost is $10 per person, and the fee includes dinner and the concert. Besides dinner and the concert, there will be a silent auction, where you will be able to bid on different baskets, each filled with items donated to LPAC.
As always, donations and volunteer efforts are key to the success of this fundraiser. There are plenty of ways that you can contribute to the success of this year’s event, and we hope you will join us.

Call for donations
Desserts: We need dessert donations for the dinner. These can be any type of treat, homemade or store bought. Desserts can be dropped off on the day of the concert, Wed. 2/18. If bringing them in the AM, you can take them to the band room. Afterschool they can be brought directly to the West Atrium.
Silent Auction Items: If you have access to products or services that would be a good fit for the auction, please contact us. We can provide you with a receipt for tax purposes. Things like movie passes, gift certificates, ski passes, sports tickets, spa treatments, handicrafts, re-gifted items can all make great auction items. More information about donations for the auction can be found in this donation letter.
Basket Donations: We are in need of empty baskets for the auction. Please bring in any empty baskets, buckets, or bins that you have and we’ll fill them up with auction items. The due-date for basket donations is Friday, February 6, 2015.
Call for volunteers
In the weeks before, parents will meet to assemble the silent auction baskets. On the day of Empty Bowl, we’ll need several volunteers to help with various tasks. Additionally, this year there will be a coat check as well as an Italian drink bar, and we’ll need parent volunteers to staff those.
