2009 Bengal Regiment Program Assessment

The budget for the 2009 Bengal Regiment is finalized. The total budget for the 2009 Bengal Regiment season is $53,250.

With many thanks to all of our bingo volunteers, the program assessment per student will be $300 for the marching season. The actual cost per student is $592. Please find attached the payment coupon for the 2009 marching season. The first payment is due June 6, 2009. If you can't afford some or all of this assessment, please see any board member to apply for FANS funds and please consider working bingo so we can continue to make these programs affordable for all!

If you would like a copy of the 2009 Bengal Regiment budget, please let any board member know. We'd be happy to get you a copy!

Fundraising / Future LHS IM Trips!

Please consider volunteering for some or all of our LPAC fundraisers. You can earn fundraising points for your student's account and offset the cost of participating in the LHS music programs. And it's fun! These fundraisers are what keep the cost of participation in the music programs low and provide new equipment for the department. Even if you only volunteer for one night or several or for an entire year, it all helps!

The music department is planning a trip to the Colorado West Music Festival in Grand Junction on April 15-17, 2010, and a trip out of state in the 2010-2011. These trips are not set in stone yet. We just want to give everyone a head's up so you can start working on fundraising for your students account now. All of the LHS instrumental music students will be participating in these trips!

Please contact any board member to find out how to volunteer!

Bingo Volunteers Needed

We have many great bingo parents whose students are seniors and they will be leaving the bingo program shortly. We need volunteers to keep this very lucrative fundraiser going for the LHS Music Department! We need bookkeepers, games managers and callers! Please let Christi at email: lpacbingo@comcast.net know if you'd like to be trained! Help us keep this fundraiser going! It's great fun and a way to benefit all the instrumental music programs at LHS. The bingo program runs 2 nights a week: Thursdays and Saturdays (2 sessions).

King Soopers Gift Cards Available!

Two percent of the amount of the gift cards that you purchase goes into your student account.

To order King Soopers gift cards, please contact Cindy Aragon at phone: 303-906-2475 or email: caragon@jeffo.k12.co.us.

Thanks for supporting another LPAC fundraiser!

Bingo Reminder

All LHS music students must work 3 sessions of Bingo to letter! This includes orchestra, band, jazz band, pit ensemble, etc. Sign up now to volunteer!

Because the students primary job is their education, the bingo lettering requirement for the 2007-2008 school year may be completed during the summer before August 1, 2008. Also, the students may complete their 2008-2009 bingo requirement between June 1, 2008 and August 1, 2009. This gives the students a lot of flexibility in completing their bingo lettering requirement during the summer for either school year.

We need bookkeepers, games managers, & callers! Please let Christi know if you'd like to be trained!

Please contact Christi Young at email: lpacbingo@comcast.net, to volunteer for the LPAC Bingo program. Remember that all of the LHS Music ensembles benefit from the bingo program!
