lakewood performing arts council
The Lakewood Performing Arts Council is the parent organization supporting instrumental music at Lakewood High School. LPAC offers support primarily through its fundraising activities, including the bingo program, which raises over $100,000 each year. It also provides catering at many events, organizes potlucks and bake sales, and gives administrative support to the instructional staff.
membership
The LPAC membership consists of parents of current and former students. Each fall, LPAC solicits new and renewal memberships from students in band and orchestra. Membership is free, although prospective memebers are invited to make a donation at one of the following levels:
- Bronze, $100 or more
- Silver, $250 or more
- Gold, $500 or more
- Platinum, $1000 or more
Membership in LPAC offers an opportunity to support an important educational activity for students at Lakewood High School. Membership is also required for parents and family members who wish to participate in the bingo program, which raises money for all the instrumental music programs at LHS.
